• Q: When you say, "Stylus RMX format" or "Designed for Stylus RMX users", what exactly does that mean?

A: During the creation of each title we constantly asked ourselves, "How will this flow for Stylus RMX users?" and, "How can we make this library ultra flexible within Stylus RMX?" Keeping these questions in mind has resulted in REX based loop libraries that are extremely RMX friendly.
All titles featured on our site have a segment on the DVD and in the download specifically organized for Stylus RMX. Customers will see their Nine Volt Audio title appear in Stylus RMX in a familiar and easy-to-navigate way. Before using the loops in Stylus RMX users must do a one-time drag-and-drop of their Nine Volt Audio title into Stylus RMX's included S.A.G.E.™ Converter. Although the conversion process is quick and easy, we also include graphical directions and encourage any customer or potential customer to contact us (not Spectrasonics) for any assistance with our titles. • Q: I’m having problems with the Stylus RMX conversion process. What can I do?

A: Doing one or more of these resolves most conversion issues:

Use the most recent version of the S.A.G.E.™ Converter: 1.5.1d - the version number is in the upper left corner of the converter.

Convert the REX files from an internal hard drive; not directly from the DVD or external drive.

Make sure you have the latest version of the "REX Shared Library" on you system. It's easiest to download the latest version and run the installer. It will overwrite any previous version that you might have. The “REX Shared Library” is necessary for converting some higher resolution loops. You can download the appropriate file for free by clicking here.

If you’ve completed the above steps and still have problems, please contact us. Back To Top
